3 WAYS TO START SOD LANDSCAPING DURING THE WINTER
Is Dormant > Blooming

Do you need sod for your new home or pool? Sod is planted all four seasons, and we are going to cover how the winter months can be a great time to complete your sod installation project. These three pro tips will help you understand how to work around the weather, and be ready for spring.

1) Plan Between Inclement Weather – Tulsa sod landscaping happens when sod can be cut. Planning up to 2 weeks ahead of time can help secure timely installations regardless of weather.

2) Complete Your Grade When The Ground Isn’t Frozen – The ground gets extremely hard even when snow isn’t present. Less working days can make projects harder to complete. Plan grade work in the afternoons when the ground has had the most time possible to get soft from the sun.

3) Install Your Fence Last – (When your not picking up materials 7 Ft access minimum recommended.) This gives room for materials to be put in place with the most access or required.
