What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once we receive the initial request for sod installation or sod delivery we begin by understanding the customers needs in person and over the phone. After understanding needs we either submit an estimate by email. Once the sod estimate is accepted, we then schedule installations, deliveries, and pick-ups based on supply and demand.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
75 Years of combined experience brings our customers the best from every angle. We have worked with commercial and residential customers in almost every compacity you can think of.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was 18 I was recruited to work on a sod crew. They liked me because I worked hard and slowly began teaching me more. Those relationships have been extremely rewarding and educational.
What types of customers have you worked with?
All Types – Customers that need a few rolls to customers that have needed multiple truckloads weekly. We work with golf courses, school districts, builders, home owners, contractors, project managers, business owners, Retail Stores, and Franchise owners.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently installed 10,000 Square feet of bermuda sod at a recently built home in Tulsa. I was fond of this job because I thought the customers did a great job designing their home. Start to finish took us 2 hours.
